To tell who a poster is replying too? I don't know why it seems so hard for some / many to just [copy/quote] ? It removes confusion.

Only if they quote the recipient...or Name the person they're replying to in the body of their post...otherwise, the rest of us could help them out by taking mind reading classes... :D

I don't always reply with quote but, I usually name the person or persons I'm replying to. Everyone replying with quote can get unwieldy, vintage diner is an example. Just my opinion. Don...

which brings up another question...why was the thread title changed to Bermuda Triangle ?

Another Bermuda Triangle debacle? I say this tongue-n-cheek. Honestly, I don't care. I just think it's funny that you're not getting it

Spoof on Title and OP:
Is there a way...to tell a poster of a new thread, to enter specific Title words? I don't know why it seems so hard for some

Well....I believe there are specific title words....Is there a way?.... But OK, lets just say you're right & I'm wrong, and let it go at that. No reason to kick this can all day.

Oh come on. I’m game for kicking this can all day long

I haven't had to yet but I think I would just use the name unless the thread was just short. If we quoted a long quote would it be too heavy on the system if everyone did that? Just asking I don't know.,

You can hit the "reply with quote," highlight the actual quote, leaving the name you're replying to, type 'SNIP!,' and thus not post everything in the post you're replying to.

Welcome, Olive. At first I thought I had posted something when sleep walking. Lol I just hope our posts don't get confused with each other's.

I wondered why you did that! I would highlight then hit delete . I guess it's the same thing, but sometimes if I feel a little snippy, I'll do it your way. :playful:

Yes, I found that confusing and I was looking for the post that had the word "SNIP" in it. I guess easier than deleting the parts that don't apply to the reply, but I think that would be more conducive to understanding what the reply post is about.
