  • Britain's first-ever same-sex royal marriage is set to take place this summer.
  • Queen Elizabeth's cousin Lord Ivar Mountbatten will wed partner James Coyle at his country estate in Devon.
  • Mountbatten's ex-wife Penny — who he divorced in 2011 after 17 years of marriage — will be walking him down the aisle, at the suggestion of their three daughters.

Lord Ivar Mountbatten, cousin to Queen Elizabeth II, is set to marry his partner James Coyle on his country estate later this summer. The 55-year-old revealed the details of the upcoming ceremony to The Daily Mail

I'm betting it will be as lovely and tasteful as any other of their "do's".

But I too wonder if some invited guests may not attend- and that would be sad, imo.

Hey, who's baking the cake?

I truly hope so RaddishRose. I think all humans on this planet should have the opportunity and right to marry whomever they choose. Everyone deserves a beautiful wedding.

Yes, now who will be baking the cake. I’ve got some recommendations

Sorry, but Lord Ivar Mountbatten,s country estate is in Hampshire not Devon. It is in Romsey, a small town on the river Test about seven miles north west of Southampton.

I've noticed a pattern of these threads coming around to cake. Spice cake in particular.
Curious. :)
