The rudest people

Not the majority by all means but the rudest people I have ever met are online.
Close second would be some parents attending their children's sports activities or speech night/presentation events.

I'm with warrigal... I have to say that IMO the rudest people overall, are some people online...simply because they feel empowered by being anonymous ..or hidden behind a screen

Other than that , in truth I find rude people almost everywhere...

I would have to say it would be at children's sporting events like little league baseball, peewee football etc. Some of those parents are so rude to the umps/refs most of whom are volunteers. I've seen some very obnoxious behavior and think, "wow, these adults are supposed to be role models." I feel sorry for the kids and I feel sorry for all the volunteers who work tirelessly to help provide a safe environment for kids to learn about rules, discipline, sportsmanship, being on a team that welcomes everyone (male, female, black, white etc) and that all gets undermined by parents who act like a bunch of 3 year olds throwing a temper tantrum and embarrasing their children in front of everyone else.

Some folks, because of my humor, think I can be rude, but, then again, most of those have very little-to-no "sense of humor" anyway. IOW, some folks, to me, are just to serious thinking.

Sometimes I think that folks that are so-called "realist" are called "rude". I'm pretty much a "realist".

In traffic.

Rudeness is everywhere and it's getting worse by the day.

I so agree!

On the road, people turn into animals. The same people that would hold a door open for you, when in their cars, turn into different people. Road rage.

Close second, some people online. Keyboard warriors.

I've never experienced the rude and childish parents at my son's Little League games, but I know they're out there.

Lately it seems there's a trend now for temper tantrums at fast food places!

Just remember my previous post here...…..rudeness can be mistaken for humor. But, as far as drivers go, there are definitely rude drivers out there. However, those "rude drivers" would say, "if the pace of this area is too fast for you, you need to move". Actually, I call rude drivers, dangerous drivers.

I think rude people are pretty much everywhere these days but also find what some of us class as rudeness is quite normal to others, depending on where you originate from with varying customs, upbringing and social standards

I am with all of the above, but would like to add.

Over here: The press towards Politicians and the
different political party members to others opposite
them in parliament.

Mike.

On forums, people who disagree with other people can definitely become rude. Funny, I've been called "rude", but the same folks that called me "rude" will make rude replies as well.

...or maybe like attracts like. :)

Awww... thanks, RR.

In some cases that's true RR... but I've been on the receiving end often on forums, without any provocation from me ...

When it comes to this forum or Facebook, when I see rude remarks I look up that poster's history. Oftentimes it's someone who spoils for a fight no matter how minor the opportunity. While annoying, they're more to be pitied than scorned. In their sadness they believe that life has screwed them over, and they examine others' actions through a microscope hunting for something they can characterize as slights.

The rudest and most obnoxious are those on a political forum.

That's why there is no political politics on this forum. It used to have one at one time and I am a political junky but I was glad when the political part of the forum was dropped.

Can't argue with that
