I NEVER use them and I know many do but I cannot find humor or pleasure in them. Anyone else think as I do.
The good thing about emojies is that they make up for the lack of tone of voice or facial expressions when you've got only words. Sometimes when you're just kidding, an emojie can make it clear that you are.

No matter what you think, they make life a lot more easy and comfortable; that's why they were invented.
I was born much earlier than you S.B. so that could be a lot to do with it. I have friends who NEVER got a computer, those who unplugged them and we call each other on a phone believe it or not, a land phone.
Yeah, I don't even know if that means Laughing out Loud, or Lots of Luck or just what and don't care.
That LOL stuff.
So, if I can't use an emoji and I can't use LOL, then just hope that the readers of my posts don't take what I say the wrong way? :sumo:
Olivia, who says you can't....I'm talking about what I don't like and don't use them.
Age may have something to do with it Jam. I didn't get my computer until the year 2000, and have only used one desktop shared with my husband, no other devices. My cell phone is an older flip-phone, prepaid Tracfone, used for emergencies or very short calls to hubby. I still prefer using my landline to call friends and family, and don't intend to get rid of it.
Before I ever joined a forum and started seeing LOL used a lot, I used to think it meant Lots of Love.![]()
i'd much rather see an emoji than the overused "lol", which some people type at the end of every other sentence.![]()
