Swifter duster handles

Checking our laundry room for supplies and I find we 3 boxes of Swiffer refills, but not a handle to be found anywhere. I’ve checked the stores and online with no success. You have to buy another box that has a handle with it. So I guess we will have 4 boxes of Swiffer soon.

Do you have one of those grabber pick up things? If you slide one side of the grabby part into one of the swiffer slots then you can squeeze the handle and it closes and holds the duster in place very well.

Pappy, run out and buy a new handle when you get home from the store two or three more handles will turn up!:playful::eek:nthego:.

Maybe some coathanger surgery would work.

What Aunt Bea said! And wmart store brand swiff imitations sells with a handle in the box, and possibly w/o handles too.

How soon does it take for those Swiffers to get dirty, do you have to throw them out and use a new refill each time? I always see ads on TV for them, do they work really well?

It depends on how dirty things are. :D I can usually Swiffer the furniture, then I take the duster outside and shake it out. I can use each refill at least twice. They work OK for light dust.

Depends in what you use them on. Last quite a while on light furniture dust, less on really dirty ares that don't get cleaned often. I take it outside after using & slap the loose stuff of it.i still use a cloth if I want to use a polishing product.
