About 5 years ago, I tore my rotator cuff and bicep muscle on the right side. They went in, added screws and did the best they could fixing it. Then 2 years ago, I did the same to my left side. Had surgery right after Christmas, only to have it "not take", and they did surgery again right before Easter.
Now, I think I have somehow tore up the right shoulder again. Possibly moving furniture? I have an appt with my orthopedic doc on the 10th. The past procedure seems to be, get a shot in the joint to see if it helps, a month later I can get scans done, followed by surgery.
Has anyone else had a lot of trouble with your shoulder(s)? If so, did you have surgery and was it fixed for good? I've been told that shoulder surgery is harder to 'come back from' than any other. And with 3 down, I'm dreading the thought of another.
