Funny, today's generation would say to us "your values were better than ours?"...…...with a very big question mark. Remember, we had Woodstock, Monterey Pop Festival, California Jam and others. I lived with my first wife for a few months, before we were married. Heck, I lived with my "now" wife for a year, before we married, however, she was wearing an engagement ring for the entire year. Some of us Baby Boomers hit a marijuana bong, pipe or doobie at times. Some even done some very illegal drugs. What was shown in the movie, Forest Gump (drugs), was very true. The "F" word was being said back then quite a bit. Heck, Country Joe & The Fish even had the crowd at Woodstock spell the word out!
So, just what am I saying...…..we sure weren't as innocent as we sometimes portray we were. I'm almost 70, so I went thru a lot of it, except for the years I was in the Navy during Nam.
