Utah Mother Admits Killing At Least Six of Her Infants

This mother in Utah admits to killing 6 of her infant babies shortly after birth due to suffocation or strangulation. However, there were seven dead babies discovered in her garage wrapped up and in boxes. http://www.cnn.com/2014/04/14/us/utah-seven-dead-babies/

Stories like this are so sad, those poor babies never had a chance. Ideally, this woman should have used birth control, and avoided pregnancy in the first place. Second option would be having the babies and turning them over to the authorities, police, church or fire station. An abortion would have been kind also, rather than killing these infants when they were already born.

Mothers or fathers who abuse or kill their babies or children, are the worst of monsters IMO.
 
Is she intellectually disabled?
Did she have a husband/partner and if not, was she being taken advantage of by local men?

It's easy to brand a woman a monster, harder to understand her situation.
 
It is tragic and almost unbelievable that she killed so many innocent babies.


Something I don't understand is that neighbours and friends say they never knew she was pregnant.
Seven pregnancies in ten years and no one noticed?
 
They say the neighbors noticed that she gained weight, but didn't know that she was pregnant. She even babysitted the neighbor's kids. They say they don't believe she had a 'mental illness', but she was an alcoholic and had some past drug abuse.
