My daughter did her own install and like your SIL the wires are just flopping around, drives me nuts to look at. Yet the wires blend right in with all the crap she has hanging off her mirror.lol
I've wondered about that also. Most new cars have both front and rear cameras, why couldn't those cameras also be used as driving dash cams? Seems it would be a fairly simple option to incorporate.
To answer the original post, no, I don't have a dash cam but have been thinking I should get one
Every morning at the gym as I warm up on the treadmill I look out over the parking lot. I laugh how most members try to get parking as close as possible to the door, like walking an extra twenty feet is going to hurt them. Even young guys in trucks do it, they shimmy in and out of a spot trying...
I've only had a few tickets in my life. The first was for driving a motorcycle without a license and not wearing eye protection. I had a drivers liscense but no motorcycle endorsement, snuck off on my brothers Harley and picked up my girlfriend, gave her my sun glasses to wear as we cruised...
Your thread reminded me of a current beauty trend I find kind of an ick, tatooed eyebrows. You don't notice they're tatooed at a distance but when you get close it's a yikes!

Last week at the gym, guy walks over and spits his chew into the trash can, takes a sip of water and proceeds to brush his teeth with his finger, takes another sip, swishes it...
I'd be good for a week or so of normal eating, I like to eat fresh foods so I buy week to week. I do have some pantry items that I could eat and stretch it out for at least two weeks, after that I'm hunting squirrels.
But we like driving.....I've always felt we Americans are kind of gluttonous with our cars, we love our automobiles. Every person in a household wants their own car, we don't share, we don't car pool, we drive instead of taking a bus, we spend rediculas amounts of money for luxury cars we use...
I'm around 14k a year with the bulk of those miles being trips to Lowes and Home Depot, or so it seems.
I drive more now than when I was working which surprises me.
I plow my long drive using a tractor with a grader blade mounted on the back, I also use the tractor to plow a path from my barn up to the drive. Sidewalk by the house I use a snow shovel. I don't usually put salt down but will if I'm expecting company or a delivery, I don't want anyone...
