    For re-modeling in Kitchem...

As does stainless steel appliances for me. But I'm sure most don't agree with me here, but I just can't do stainless for that reason. ;)

As a tall person, they look like a real back-cracker to me as they're low. Just a consideration.

    Why I hate spring cleaning

I used to absolutely love spring cleaning. No longer. I guess because in AZ the dust is so horrid (we live on 5 acres) that it's all undone within a few days. Before I could relish in clean. So that means I got rid of a lot of dustables, except books. We're getting new flooring in a few weeks...

    Heavy furniture for old farts

It took me two years to come to terms with it. Seriously. And I've had sleepless nights... it's horrible. Like moving. I waited so long, my old carpet is a trip hazard and my linoleum is ... well... Not fun. Even choosing the product. The money. Not fun. But now I just want it done and over with.

Or how about when we were first married? I just purged bakeware, etc. I don't need all that! I only want "just enough" and when we were married, we had just enough! Not every crevice was full!

    Heavy furniture for old farts

We have a steel built leather love seat. Ugly. Uncomfortable. A couple chairs is what I would purchase instead. I need space to make it easier to vacuum and I despise loveseats and couches in front of a window. This is a great option.

    Heavy furniture for old farts

I'd like to get rid of one armoire that houses (hides) a tv in the kitchen my dh wants. One bookshelf and small oak writing desk (heavy!). That would be extremely helpful. My good quality stuff isn't ornate per se, but it is excellent quality. Having particle board isn't really what I want and...

    Heavy furniture for old farts

We have a flat screen tv, the shelves are on each side that house a dvd player (we watch dvds), a bluetooth amplifier for speaker, radio, music, tv sound, two speakers and dvds in the cabinet. My dh said yesterday that once we move it back we won't have to move it again. My thoughts were there...

    Heavy furniture for old farts

Right? Or my apartment? 10 boxes, a couch, a table, a bed, and a dresser. Gosh I miss those days.

I always wanted everything on rollers. I love to rearrange, but can't because it's all too heavy and that is depressing.

Have You Used It In 6 Months?

I am excellent at dejunking! Hoping when my DH sees, he would come on board, but not yet. But I can't stand to be packed to the gills anymore. I need white space and I don't do clutter. But there are some items of mine I wish I could get rid of because I don't want to care for them anymore...

    Heavy furniture for old farts

Our entire home is getting new flooring. We have to remove everything off the floor everywhere, but they will be shifting our furniture around. This is a huge task - like moving. Every single room as overly heavy items. Think armoires, entertainment centers, oak & L-shaped desks, oak...
