My friend registered Blind has been given and taught to use a ‘tablet ‘ with software that speaks to him each option as he runs his fingers over the screen. The software is called Synnaptic and at 90 he has a successful introduction to computing. Email, entertainment, photography etc
There’s been a movement to home grown seasonal foods here in uk to reduce food miles and associated fuel use. That seems a good idea to benefit the earth.
Now in Covid restrictions I use a dvd disc that incorporates aerobics, yoga, Pilates and weights. Can do squats etc at 72 if we don’t let ourselves stiffen up. Knees struggled at first but got better.
If the rain stops I drop everything to get outdoors for fresh air and daylight to brisk walk...
