Six foods we're supposed to eat to help with joint pain

I have a friend who says turmeric supplements help with her arthritis. I swear by decaf green tea. Long story short: After receiving two cortisone injections in my left knee, being told I'd need a knee replacement, substituting green tea (on a hunch) for the sugar free Hawaiian Punch powdered...

    Have you watched Underworld?

Thank you for the recommendation Bretrick. I haven't seen them but the trailers piqued my interest. I'll have to see if I can find them on any of my streaming venues. @dilettante Your review helps as well.

Do you ever mess up taking your medication?

Sometimes I forget to take them. Sometimes I skep certain meds on purpose or opt to take them later than usual. Like you I have a pill case, but don't have separate cases for different classes of medication. I do fill two cases at a time and have a third "back up" that I keep in my purse. I'm...

What TV show did you like but it was taken off the air?

Obviously there are lots of shows I liked that were eventually taken off the air. :) The two main ones that come to mind only aired for one season. Did you watch Grace & Frankie?

I watched the first episode and never got back to it. That scene at the end on the beach when they were both high was hilarious. :ROFLMAO: Vintage..don't know if you realize it but there's an Entertainment section for threads about T.V. shows, movies, books, music, celebrities, etc. @Bretrick

Senior Kills Uber Driver in Scam Confusion

This is a terribly tragic case. Another example of someone who thought because he had a gun, he could meet out his own justice! And it's a perfect example of why some people do not need to be armed. He took an innocent life and ruined his life, the lives of her family and his own family. I hope...

A young person today confronted with a rotary telephone

But we didn't get scam calls back then and unless one was dodging bill collectors. which we never had to, it was "safe" to answer the phone. :) As far as prank calls, once a boy broke in on the party line of the family who owned the house we lived in. Their daughter, who wasn't very nice to me...

Dietary Changes That Could Be Early Signs Of Alzheimer's

I was surprised to read about this. The article states that dietary changes might also come in the later stages of Alzheimer's. "According to Dr. Elana Clar, MD, a neurologist at New Jersey Brain & Spine, one early sign of Alzheimer’s disease that many people aren’t aware of is a change in...

How do you keep up with technology?

Sometimes I have to learn how to do things out of necessity. My son is also a big help when I get stumped. Then there's always what we call YouTube University and online searches.
