I can't remember a time when sex was meaningless for me. I wonder what that is like. Brain dead?

In my opinion there is no meaningless experience. An experience can be good or bad but never meaningless.

An 80-year-old lady because she had just gotten married for the fourth time.
Previously she had first married a banker when she was in her 20's.
Then, in her 40's, she married a circus ringmaster.
On reaching her 60's she had married a preacher.
Her new husband's occupation is that of a funeral director.
So when the local journalist who was running the story and seemed quite surprised,
commented on the diversity of her husband's careers she simply explained:
"I married one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, and four to go."

Sex when you are 80 is far from meaningless. It makes me sleep well, pee well and poop well.
After sex I go out like a light. At six every morning I pee like a racehorse, then at six thirty I can poop for England.
The only problem is, I don't wake up until seven!

love does help with the sexual experience but to say sex without love is meaningless I disagree.

If it produces a child, (only one time is necessary), it will be far from “meaningless”. I will mean 18 years minimum of bills, loss of free time, hassles galore, and other obligations.
My sister’s cousin-in-law had a fling with a younger gal, when he was in his early 50s. When most of us were celebrating our children reaching the age of majority and the new freedom to do things without having to take responsibility for the kids, he was dealing with a middle schooler. And all the hassles of being divorced without ever getting divorced.

I don't think you're saying that sex without love isn't fun, because you would have said that.
Also for two people to engage in sex, it obviously means they are physically attracted to each other (So it has meaning).
If however you are saying that it doesn't have the same emotional experience as sex when you are in love, then I think that's a fair statement.
Sex is one body having a physical experience with another body.
Sex when you are truly in love is a body and soul having a physical experience with another.
Also for two people to engage in sex, it obviously means they are physically attracted to each other (So it has meaning).
If however you are saying that it doesn't have the same emotional experience as sex when you are in love, then I think that's a fair statement.

Yes... but my 1st husband was a Gynecologist and he only looked at, 2nd husband was a Psychiatrist and he only talked about it.
