How are you today?

@Paulina, the board often moves very quickly, and you might not see a thread in the first dozen or so listed. All you have to do is click on the bell at the top right of the screen to see if anyone has responded to it, then click on the most recent reply.

I am very happy, thank you for asking :) I also have a newly acquired tan and am currently debating whether we have too much to do in the coming weeks or, whether we can fit in another short holiday before the cold weather arrives. I know, my life is full of problems :)

Pretty good. Awaiting a delivery and contemplating what I need to do.

I am awake but still sleepy after coffee and an hour of being up. Thinking of going back to bed.

I was up way to late last night, due to reading the news and then researching some things I read about. None of it was political -- just wasting time reading about a few crimes, and health, science, and tech.

Creaking and groaning. Not sure how I hurt my left ankle, but it hurts. Mrs. L is in a similar position having collided with a clothes rack and badly bruised two toes. Since misfortune comes in 3's, we discovered that our neighbour was blown over in the recent storm and has badly bruised her right shoulder. It's simply not safe living here.

On the bright side, our daughter, prof Lightning, is here for a while and she loves working in the garden and she's a great help to her crumbly parents. She's planning to buy her own house, so I expect in return, we'll be roped in to help with that.

Feeling better today. Yesterday I could not put any weight on my left foot without shouting. The steroids must be working. Since I have additional problems with inflammation I welcome the general effect on my entire body. Who knew? Steroids might be the answer.
