Reflections of My Life

To turn with the piano, you have to twist or turn your back. To avoid that, to keep your spine dead straight, you first turn your feet
Wow. That's neat. 🤩
I truly like the entire concept and am glad to learn it.
I knew the previous parts, but not that final one. Thank you for the explanation. 🙂

When lifting, keep your spine straight, head up, squat and lift with your knees. To turn, turn your feet first.
Sorry, I bet I'm preaching to the choir.
I know that method (I worked in a nursing home and that was what we were taught) but the problem is I cannot squat. My knees will not work that way anymore.

kat,

Take out the bottom drawer, you may get lucky and find that the dresser bottom is open to the floor so you can vacuum without moving it.

Otherwise, wait for your son to move the dresser long enough for you to vacuum under it.
The bottom drawer was not open to the floor. All the drawers have a slider thing on the bottom middle to keep them sliding smoothly.

No worries! I did it yesterday and now it looks nice. Not new but clean and shiny.

Every time you take a step forward you bend your knee even if only slightly or to relax the flex mid-step. Just bend your knees that far. And wear knee braces and a back brace! And remember to keep your load close to your body. And maybe practice before you lift the load.

I already did it. All done. I don't wear braces. I don't plan on lifting heavy loads often. That was a one thing.

Haven't seen you in a couple days. Hope you're alright. ~hugs~
Thank you for your concern! You are very observant as I am going through some stuff. As of this moment, I cannot talk about it.

Sonny is in the hospital and has been since Thursday. He is having an "electrophysidogy study" done sometime today. So right now, this is all I can concentrate on.

It has been hard for me to post on here yesterday and this morning. I think it is mostly the ones with pictures so I will avoid those for now. Though I did get my good morning posted.

Sonny called me awhile ago. He has to have another test today. This one they send a camera through his throat to look at things from another angle. Can't eat again today. He was able to eat last night after his test was over but just some crackers and chicken salad sandwich. I keep thinking this is not going to turn out okay.

Is this test for his heart, @katlupe ? Because of my a fib and CHF, my cardiologist sent me to an electrophysiologist, and they did a heart ablation, which helped my heart for a couple of years, and then they had to do another one.
Eventually, he had to put in a permanent pacemaker which totally controls my heart.
I was really scared when I had the first ablation, but it probably saved my life; so it was a really good thing that they did it.

Try to stay positive Kat. Things are so advanced these days. 🥰

It is for his heart. He already has a pacemaker but last Thursday, it had a burp and caused him to blackout. He has had a number of things done to his heart in recent years. So I never know what is happening with it. He trusts the doctors so we will see what happens.
