It's warmed up a bit here: 26 F/–3 C. Friday the temperature is supposed to hit 57 F/14 C—I hope that forecast doesn't change! 
But my area is basically headed into the usual 5- to 6-month winter. I'm usually fine with that until January, by which time I'm fed up with the extreme cold and the snow, but winter here drags out until at least April.
