When I yell and make a fuss they do but next day it’s back to neglect so starts all over again.Sorry to hear that Pepper, can you have someone advocate for you(if they haven't already)?
Are you able to contact your primary doctor? Or is there a doctor that comes to see you there at all? If so I would be telling someone. It’s DISGUSTING Here. I have burning bleeding itching diaper rash. I stink and have never been showered.
They don’t give enough food and too little insulin. Sugar is in 300sor more Every day
Have decided would rather be dead than permanently lose my independence. Have decided living in a facility is not worth it@Pepper, I'm so sorry that you're suffering. The day when you're outta there surely can't come soon enough.![]()
I have contacted everyone and was ignored. Especially worried blood sugar levels are three to four hundred which I know interferes with surgical wound healingAre you able to contact your primary doctor? Or is there a doctor that comes to see you there at all? If so I would be telling someone.
Also if there's a house supervisor in that hospital I'd be contacting them. Part of their job is to see to it patients are properly cared for.
Good luck with all that. Sorry you're going through all this.Did not contact primary as I leave Wednesday. Will see him when I get back home from here
that seems to be a major issue in hospitals. i don't understand it frankly.I have contacted everyone and was ignored. Especially worried blood sugar levels are three to four hundred which I know interferes with surgical wound healing
I HATE, HATE, HATE when delivery companies don't keep to their original schedules. They fail to realize that customers have lives, and we often deliberately time some purchases based on the estimated delivery window.I'm in a bit of a panic now... I ordered some large wardrobe units for the spare room, which currently holds other furniture and lots of boxes with stuff for sale on auction sites. i was told the delivery would be around the 2nd of december, so I thought I had time to try and get the room cleared in readiness for the delivery, .... but I just had a text from the company saying they;ll be delivering in the next 2 days...![]()
How long will you be there?Have decided would rather be dead than permanently lose my independence. Have decided living in a facility is not worth it
Precisely that Star.... ..I HATE, HATE, HATE when delivery companies don't keep to their original schedules. They fail to realize that customers have lives, and we often deliberately time some purchases based on the estimated delivery window.

Had to threaten and fuss force and push. Wednesday with at home services. DIL force to be reckoned with. Me too. Original agreement was only one week of Acute Care. Needed second week. Now they don’t want to let me go. EVERHow long will you be there?
No. Staff nice people. No complaints about the staff@Pepper, is part of the issue language barriers with the staff.
I agree about those lovely gifts @packleader laid out for his beautiful wife.... she's a lucky lady..... ..I hope she had a wonderful trip@packleader, that was so sweet to welcome your wife home with roses, baklava, and persimmons! Is she home now? I hope she enjoyed Rome. I have several friends who have made pilgrimages there, and they raved about it.
It's a lovely day here, sunny and 55 (12 C), so I am heading out on what likely will be my last outdoor walk for awhile. On Monday night and into Tuesday, temperatures are supposed to plunge into the teens, and I see the National Weather Service's favorite phrase, "Patchy blowing snow," is in the forecast.
I should get some work done later, but I will probably be lazy and put on a movie.
