I had to look that up....noooo way...lolI would give it a try!
I would actually be more concerned about the other people on the bus and how they might react in the event of a problem.
I would prefer being by me self in a Waymo.
Yeah my BIL said that lately, that it won't take long now before you can just order a self driving Tesla. I have no driver's license. If you have one and can always step in sure, but just step in with no driver? No thanks.I had to look that up....noooo way...lol

We have them also. They are called ālight rails.ā I have been on them at airports around the country. They take passengers from the concourse to the main terminal. Baltimore has one that goes from near the PA line to downtown Baltimore and out to the airport. In Florida, there are trains that are automated in Miami and Jacksonville. There are probably a lot of these trains running in different states. I like them, except for the fact that some make too many stops, which extends the time to get to the end of the line. That said, we have driverless train here... since the 80's....I've been on them.....

our is not short... it's over 20 miles longWhen I lived in the Seattle region, I sometimes rode the monorail (elevated train, driverless) as a novelty. It only went a very short distance, and was more like an amusement park ride. But visitors to the city found it fun. I presume they still do.
