@holly,,,,Sorry about that.... Where Mac's front legs go through.
He comes out of sweaters ripping & pulling.

Thanks, Starsong for that!

Put on his zip doggy coat last night,,, he started growling at me.
Told him that wasn't nice,,he night not live another night.
Must have understood the tone of my voice.

Have dressed in Car-hard-overalls,, some one called for wood.
Its someone who works on hubby's trucks.

He just bought new battiers for the backhoe.
It still isn't turning over like it should,,,,perhaps the starter may need replaced?

It's racing towards 7.15pmpm now.. dark of course.

Itook delivery of the new hardback which is the Andrew Lowrie .. book ''Entitled'' the Rise and fall of the house of York... and it's clearly been used rather than new, so I've just been chatting with Amazon about getting a replacement and they're sending me a new one out tomorrow.

The £30 they gave me the other day on a gift card ..I've spent already..I got a new stepstool...some surgical dressings.. and this book.... but now I'll have to wait until tomorrow for the replacement, altho' they don't want this one I have here, back....

In the meantime this afternoon I've also been repairing the Venetian Window blind Tilt wand here in the office room, it had sheared off at the tip where it joins the blind tiwst connection.. so I had to repair that today.. hopefully that will last for a while

I also had to order a a new office chair... the one I have now I've had for 7 years , it's still in great condition but the hydraulic gas lift cylinder doesn't work any more.. I tried just using thicker cushions to sit on but they kept sliding off... and I'm sitting so low to the floor, I'm having to stretch up to see the computer. Just replacing the Cylinder , will cost £40, plus a lot of hassle for me to try and refit it myself.. so I just bought a new chair.. which only cost £55... ..this is where I miss having my X around he would have fixed it in minutes...

This is the one I currently have...

I'll donate this chair, someone will, find a use for it or replace the Gas lift cylinder..

..this is the one I've just bought ( not I hasten to add, from Amazon)

Yesterday, Saturday 2/7, spent 1pm to 8:30pm at the San Jose Superbowl Superfest event that was packed with people, especially early in the evening. Blocks and blocks of booths including much football stuff for kids. Danced to a lot of different live music. Was up till 1:30am but still awoke at 6:30am so went to a 7am mass. Not surprisingly given distance, far more Seahawk fans down here that Patriot fans. Lots of media people including some with broadcasting cameras about. Had 4 outdoor live music stages plus a couple EDM stages and more in some of the clubs.

More starts today in about an hour until the 3:30pm PST Superbowl kickoff. Numbers of big screens in sports bars all over that area, so will check that out in an hour.

Morning all, when I woke up at 6:30 knew it was cold outside -2
My plan today go for a walk around 9:30am,it will be the 1st time I've been outside since Thurs. The forecast high today will be in mid 20's, the sun is out which should help
The rest of my day, do NYT crossword puzzle on line, read my book, see what today's lunch& dinner menu is
Everybody have a good day

Mid-winter reset continues, yesterday the dog Aspen was returned to my daughter and her boy friend whom were returning from a couple days skiing at Grand Targhee. We met near the big city of Twin Falls ID to do the handoff and found a really good, authentic Thai restaurant and had lunch.

My wife got free access to the Superbowl so we watched our 3 hours of TV for the year. Anytime a Boston team loses it's a great game!

Saturday I rode about 65 miles on my Kawi 500 out to Craters of the Moon. It was a beautiful warm day at 45°F and not much wind to speak of. A tandem load of hay went by at one point and it smelled like summer for a second. Whilst warming up in the visitor center I had few thoughts about @Pepper, and overcoming issues.

Today hoping to get the dishwasher repairman to show up and install a couple parts. We use a lot of dishes so it's been an annoyance washing up by hand. I might go visit the gym for a bit, take care of the normal stuff, and continue resting the legs. We did get 3" of snow last night which is the beginning of the high pressure system breaking down allowing storms to come through.

This is the view at 5: 20 am this morning. I presume it's light from the groomers reflection off snow in the air .

Good morning to everyone. It is 43 degrees and still have one more night of cold. It will be warmer on Tuesday and the rest of the week.

I watched the half time of the Super Bowl and was amazed they changed the background scenery so fast. It was entertaining to watch even though I do not speak Spanish.

I hope you are all well and enjoy the day. :)

Apparently the neighbor that removed the snow from the storm that put down 14 inches, isn't going to help me with this last snow fall. I saw him blowing his own driveway and thought he'd be over when he finished. Maybe he thought I could handle 4 inches. So I took care of it this morning. Not too bad - it's a very dry snow and easy to shovel (except where the street plow piled it up).

Hmmmm....what have I done today? Well, I started the day by sleeping in. Then had coffee and breakfast. I finished one cross stitch picture (the one that should have been done last year!) and got myself setup to start this year's project. I did one part of my workout (of 3 parts), read my book, and just finished having my mid day cuppa.

When I'm finished here, I'll do the next part of my workout. Get dinner ready (Dio is going to use the grill!!

) After dinner I'll probably play my game for a bit, then go for a walk. When I come in for the day I'll finish the last part of my workout. By then it'll be time to plop in front of the TV and watch one of our shows.

My day is filled with lots of busy activities, but not really anything earth shattering. It's just another day.

Can you believe, that I cancelled an appointment for tomorrow cuz I just don't want to go out in the bad weather, and I breathed a sigh of relief thinking I won't have to go out for the rest of the week...see what thought did ?

The GP surgery rang and said I have to go and have my BP tested because it was incredibly high according to the GP, last time I was there........ and they also gave me an appt to have the Biopsy wound checked...

However they couldn't give me these appts' on the same day..or even in the same GP surgery..or even in the same town....😣

My GP surgery has 2 offices...one in my town... and another in a different town... so I have appointments twice, on 2 different days, at 2 different surgeries, in 2 different towns..this week.... so much for me staying at home... :D

No wonder your blood pressure is up. 🤔

Good afternoon peeps of SF.... 🙋‍♀️

I expect you are all not very surprised to learn that today it's raining....🌧️🌧️🌧️

I have never known so much rain here in the south..ever... I'm thinking we might get a very dry summer now due to all of this...

My new offfice chair arrived this morning.. (y) I haven't taken it out of the box yet because now my current chair is behaving and not sinking down as it has been doing for the last week...

Have the best Tuesday you can folks... 🌷

Morning all, I went outside for my early walk at 6:50 temp was 'balmy' 25,no breeze compared to the bone chilling temps we had last week.
I walked in the street close to the curb to the signal light turned around and came back went to the back driveway because the sidewalks had not been shoveled
My plans today, taking the Gates van at 1 with 2 other residents to local grocery store, Wegmans. The van goes every Tues at this time, I usually go beginning& end of the month.
The rest of my day read yesterday& today's NYT, my book. I finished yesterday's NYT crossword puzzle online ,but still do it to make sure I had the correct answers. I'll see what today's lunch& dinner menu is offering
Everybody have a good day

The only news that I have is that I'm going to town today. It's the first time that I'm leaving the property since January 11th, right before the snow hit. I'm mostly looking forward to going to the gym, but I'll be glad to get my errands done too. Surprisingly, other than some fresh produce, I still don't need to buy any food!

Time to run.....hope everyone has a good day!

Good morning to everyone. It was 44 this morning but it will be 78 degrees today. The weather is warming up, so I will take the cover off my gardenia plant. It looked green the other day and hopefully it will be okay for the rest of the winter.

I will be going out this morning to town and do a few things we need.

@hollydolly it seems chairs and other items start working right when you go to replace them. We have backup items because the items were not working well and lo and behold they are still going right.

@moviequeen1 I wish I could check what is for lunch and dinner without having to decide and cook them or go out. The building where you live, sounds like a good one for you.

I wish you all well and have a good day. :)

Mama is having a rear tooth extracted this morning at 11:30 with IV sedation so I'll be sticking really close to her all day.

She had to have one pulled a few years back with just gas and numbing shots and it still hurt her really bad so we're not going to walk down that road again, going strictly IV sedation this time....really hate to see her hurt and I wish that I could take her place.

I always think how sweet & caring you are

My husband was entirely the opposite, unless it was impossible for me to get home by myself... he would never accompany me to any procedures... I've always had to walk that road alone..
