Hahah, yeah... Fun. :cautious:

More tests, and of course he wants to do a colonoscopy. I have to see when I had the last one. I am not going through that more often than absolutely necessary!!!!

Last time they said, mild diverticulitis - and everything else is "Fine" ....

Thank you very much for the luck! I believe that's exactly what it will take for them to figure this out.
I often think Doctors recommend a Colonoscopy just to stop you coming back with the same sympotms, because it's so awful.....particularly after you've already had one previously ...

I had one in 2021... showed nothing much out of the ordinary... so they just decided it must be IBS... :(

However if they ever suggest a Colonsocopy again, I will refuse...

That's exactly where I am at! It's frustrating, as you obviously know. I just wish I could get off the acid reflux meds and see if my stomach would improve. I think they throw off your whole stomach biome thing. Sigh.

I went down at 4:30 a.m. and washed dark clothes. I started drying them around 7:00, after I made my morning prayer and had breakfast. I put away all the garments that go on hangers...will take care of the smaller items tomorrow (maybe). I was mulling around whether or not to attend our co-op's annual stockholder's meeting tonight. Well, I took an unplanned nap and when I woke up, it was too late to change clothes and go down to the community room. I'll get the minutes at some point.

Morning all, on my early walk at 6:50,temp was 32,no wind as I walked around the building, hear the birds chirping as sun was trying to break through the clouds
This morning, friend Mary picking me up at 9:30,this week's road trip' to local grocery store, Wegmans. She keeps me informed of what's happening at apt complex where I used to live
The rest of my day read today's NYT, my book, ck out today's lunch&dinner menu. I hope to get in another walk the temps will be in the mid 50's today
Everybody have a good day

I'm working on my coffee and expect my eyes to start opening up a bit more, soon.

It's going to be a beautiful day, and I have no plans!!!! Well, except for dinner.....I'm making Mushrooms & Barley soup (meatless) today. It's a quick recipe, so I don't consider it much of a project. I expect plenty of time for getting into mischief today!

💰 Pass around the donations basket....I might need bail money! 1774443100700.gif

For me these past few weeks and 2 more ahead, as seasonal changes are in full swing, it's the business of life - truck and home maintenance, medical, rotating gear into and out of storage, planning, and preparation - for summer, fall, and next winter's activities.

Today a couple hours of skiing in warm temps and brilliant sunshine w no crowd will be just plain fun. Later on it's chores and physiotherapy. And I'm looking forward to my wife cooking dinner tonight.

Hope all is well!

Afternoon Peeps of SF..... 🌺

We have very strong winds today... it was raining quite heavily this morning, but now at almost 2.30pm it's dried up and the sun is out... but the wind is blowing all the newly emptied wheelie bins up and down the road... 💨
I have the windows open anyway..I'm not claustrophobic per se... but I feel closed in if I don't have the windows open.... and I like the fresh air throughout the house.

I need to get out at some point and buy some flowers for my neighbour, whose birthday it is today or tomorrow I can't remember.. but she's the one who sends me food all the time..

Have the best Wednesday you can folks... 🌷

Good Wednesday morning!

Three pair of Purple Martins arrived early this morning! I am so happy to see them🤸‍♂️🤸‍♂️🤸‍♂️

”Baby” brother can’t get here from Ohio until sometime Friday due to complications with a customer — I will ask him to define “complications “ when he gets here🥸

We don’t eat the same anymore since my desire for food was trashed with this last skull fracture/concussion. He gave me his grocery list. I told him he had better eat everything on that list and that he had better be staying long enough to eat 4# of sausage and 2# of bacon😳😳. I think he wrote that list before he ate supper🥸🥸

I now have one more day to clean which is good because I am STILL vacuuming fake lady bugs after using that spray I bought from the Harris Company. The good news is they are no longer crawling all over my windows. I notice the stink bugs also seem to be turning upside down🤠🤠

******

Designer Muck Boots (the original Muck Boot Company) and shoes were on GMA’s ”Steals and Deals” this morning. The tall boots even have an adjustment for those with bigger calves. Well worth the money if these pretty ones hold up as well as my homely green Muck shoes🤠

Received a call yesterday from the local hardware store/lumber yard. Seems they didn't charge me for everything when I did the last pickup of materials. At that time, I thought it seemed less than expected but just paid and left. Today, I will go in and pay them the $40 I still owe. Will stop at the local grocery store for a couple of items, which never ends up being a couple of items but oh well.

It's already 80F! At 9:00 am! Crazy weather for this time of year.

really ?..in the UK they wouldn't have a leg to stand on... once you've left the store.. it's their loss...

The rain started again, very heavy but only for about 1/2 an hour, and now again it's dried up..but not sunny now at just after 5pm

I Have a Shark cordless Vac... and every day I vacuum with that... but I don't think it cleans as well as my Mielle Cat & Dog corded cleaner... so about once a month I go through the whole house with the Mielle.. and clean right through... it really does make a huge difference IMO...and I've just finished doing it..including the stairs..and the ceilings...

The 2 major problems with the Mielle is of course it's corded... and the second is that it weighs a ton..literally very heavy....

There have been posts on this Forum about less than fabulous services by M.D's. Well, the Kaiser Administration <kp.org> keeps their M.D's on their toes by asking members like I to evaluate the services provided (see below.) No wonder that I have been a continuous member of Kaiser for over 50 years. For ten years, I had both (a) Kaiser through my wife's employer, and (b) Medicare with which I explored other healthcare provider. I decided to stay with Kaiser.

I finished putting away yesterday's laundry. I had to update the documents in the estate folder on one of my hard drives then put a copy of that folder in the second hard drivel. While I was trying to fix my pharmacy lamp, which was leaning, the pole came out and I couldn't screw it back in because the other part had sunk down too far. I tried a couple of different things that didn't work. My son and I had the second part of our business meeting when he got home from work. After that, he fixed the lamp for me. Good thing, because I thought I was going to have to buy another one. I've had that lamp for several decades.

I got three calls today and wound up spending three and a half hours on the phone with my BFF, my HS#3 and another good friend. The good friend and I talked for almost two hours. I'm expecting another call from my online bestie so she can help me with some genaology questions I have. She's helped me with populating my tree and with making sense of it all, which I find overwhelming. It is my intention to reorganize my T-shirt drawer and watch one of my favorite shows before my son goes to bed.

We have a time of when to appear at local hospital, tomorrow morning,,, 6/10 a.m
Hope we don't over sleep,, alarm clock hardly makes any noise.
Expect the prep will be 2 hours or more.

Hubby had saw items he needed to get today.
I rode along with him.
Stopped at Walmart for milk & other odds items.

I forgot to look for an old fashioned alarm clock.

you have to be at the hospital at 6.10am?... how far is it from where you live ?

Last year I had to go in for a day operation... and they told me to be there at 7am... but I was not to drive because I wouldn't be allowed to drive home..

I had to get an Uber at 6am to get me there in time... only to find they had told everyone else the same thing and there was about 40 people waiting for the same operation, so most people waited all day before they were operated on..

I've slept in really late and now I feel like I'm behind for the day. I've a busy day ahead of me, and the coffee isn't even ready yet!!!!!!! 😯

I'm looking forward to getting to the gym this morning. Last time, I had my first major breakthrough with the PT that I'm doing for my bad knee. I'm hoping to do it again!

After the gym I have a bunch of errands. I expect to be home later than usual. I purposely planed on a quick & easy dinner for today, so I'm all set!

I'll probably be offline for the rest of the day, I hope everyone has a good one!

Good morning, SFers!

Had three straight nights of long, restful sleep, but I was up at 4am today. Not because I couldn't sleep but because even with the supposedly less irritating adhesive backing, the 30 day heart monitor I've been wearing had me scratching in my sleep like a flea-ridden dog.

Tore that sucker off my chest, but needed to get rid of lingering adhesive with saline, then soothe the rash with ointment. By the time I was finished it was clear that sleep would not be returning anytime soon. Figured I'd make some (decaf) coffee and see what mischief my cyber gang has been up to overnight.

Hoping to catch a nap in a few hours.

Afternoon all....

It's another glorious sunny day if a little breezy.... blue, blue skies, perfect Spring day.... temp 58 f....🌷 ☀️

Had 2 new hanging plants pots for the fence delivered today...

The spring lambs are here and healthy......I can't get too close to them or the mother bolts... so I had to zoom in quite a bit
