    I have a question about a non-partisan thread I posted this week that disappeared after a male member of S.F. made a partisan and political comment about it. The article is of medical interest to anyone with loved ones in law enforcement and is published worldwide. It's the S.F. man who published his politics, not the article.

    I think my thread title started out "Virginia Nurse" and is about her post on TikTok about what to put into hypodermic needles to poison Ice Agents. The article is in media publications all over the world of all different political parties, except S.F.

    Personally, I like PM, if two persons have extreme pro and con beliefs-let them slug it out using PM.

    Of course, that is not going to happy; we like our catty remarks to be admired by other- "Oh, how clever".

    I'm interested in others meaningful opinions, whether I agree with them or not. But when they devolve into tit-for-tat bickering between a couple of people, it should be via the private conversation option. Repeating the same 'opinion' over and over will not convince the other person to change their opinion - and it makes reading of threads for meaningful content frustrating.

    Is there a way to add a URL within the text of a signature. I attempted to add one using the BB Code, but it seems to ingore the code. Is this option disabled? BTW - Thanks for everything you do to keep the forum running.

    You have made enough posts, but you need to wait a few more days to be able to use signature links. Please understand that we are very selective when it comes to signature links, since it's the most common way of self-promotion on forums, which we are strongly against. When a member uses signature links, we often have to wonder if he wants to make a post or just add one more link.

    Hello Matrix.

    A question: Are Conversations on here private and like what is known on a site in England as Private Messages? Are Conversations private between recipients unless otherwise they choose to invite another Member in on the Convo.? I noted that if a Member posts in my Profile then it is Public to view the content. This Member is new as well so we are both finding our way round the site
