    Just in case anyone wondering. I am doing ok. Just busy with winter chores, reading and meditating. Much of what i might want to talk about is not ok on this forum. The situation has become so worrisome i don't often trust myself to even read any post here even vaguely shaped by politics. Will try to stop in now and then on safe threads.

    Hello. I see you live in New Mexico. I have been toying with the idea to move to Silver City, NM. Gets warm there. But, I've heard it welcomes seniors. Have you heard the same?

    @Blessed are you referring to Silver City that @Robb.hisself asked about or Cuba, NM which is my town?
    From what i saw Silver City seems much larger but i agree we should research as much a possible before moving.

    Silver City sorry I was unclear. I knew it was getting very popular so I am sure it has kept growing after my visits.

    When i took a quick look at the city website it did look a good bit bigger than my village.

    Cyberfriend ARE real friends. I just learned a woman i've known since Eons, 15+ yrs died. I wept as uncontrollably as i did when my 2 sisters or my best friend from HS died.

    Kindle died so won't be on as much till new one arrives (supposedly by weekend).

    That is an odd question from someone i've had no interaction with on any of the threads. i see you have posted on some threads. Suggest you do a post on the 'Introductions' thread giving people whatever info you care to share, but also your motives for joining this site.

    We are, because we've lived in this kind if climate since 1994 (17 years in Wyoming, in April it will a decade here in NM) so we stay prepared.
    Still parking up by road because snow still pretty deep on our 1/4 mile driveway. But our Firewood guy delivered on Saturday the 5th making deep ruts that helping it melt faster.
