People who continually rail against the "fake news" mainstream media will divulge their sources for honest reporting.

Let's hope so....that is all we need now, is massive civil unrest. Here a few recent articles that say a civil war is definitely possible in the near future...and they are not socialist.I find that statement to be completely absurd. Could you find me one person -- one real, live person -- who is quoted as saying that he/she would like to do away with the Constitution and appoint a dictator? No, I didn't think so.
Yes, this has become the hip talking point of the moment, despite the fact that there is nothing going on that would indicate a civil war is imminent. The left is stoking such fears to push its agenda (and to divert attention from the troubles of the current administration) and the right contributes to the problem by clinging to you-know-who and denying election results. A pox on both their houses.Let's hope so....that is all we need now, is massive civil unrest. "“Is a Civil War ahead?” was the blunt headline of a New Yorker magazine article this week. “Are We Really Facing a Second Civil War?” posed the headline of a column in Friday’s New York Times. Three retired US generals wrote a recent Washington Post column warning that another coup attempt “could lead to civil war”.
The mere fact that such notions are entering the public domain shows the once unthinkable has become thinkable, even though some would argue it remains firmly improbable."

There are some who are actively trying to start a civil war. This was in the news recently:
Capitol riot: Oath Keepers leader charged with seditious conspiracyMr Rhodes, a 56-year-old former US paratrooper and Yale-educated lawyer, is accused of conspiring with others to "oppose by force the execution of the laws governing the transfer of presidential power".The sedition charge is defined as attempting "to overthrow, put down or to destroy by force the government of the United States".The guy is a Yale-educated lawyer, for craps sake. What the hell happened to him?
Are you taking about The Second Revolutionary War , I think its already to late, we are headed in one direction, what we just about have now is a dictatorship, we are at a point just where the Russians were, before they lost everything in 1917.I guess it's all in how you define "civil war." Are we in a period during which well-armed right wing militia groups engage in terroristic and/or seditious behavior? Yes, apparently so, although I haven't seen evidence of any such behavior since January 6 of last year.
Are two halves of the country lined up to start shooting at each other? Well, no. There isn't any one cause mobilizing people. I'm not even sure that most people know which side they would be on. I have liberal and conservative friends, but most of us have agreed not to talk about politics as it gets in the way of a good friendship. Most of the conservatives I know were horrified by January 6, as was I, but we see it as an aberration rather than as Fort Sumter.

A well said and well-balanced statement.Yes, this has become the hip talking point of the moment, despite the fact that there is nothing going on that would indicate a civil war is imminent.
