2023 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

Mon 04/10/23
Current Temp. 44°F
Sunny to partly cloudy.
High 68°F
Winds NE at 10 to 15 mph.

its 8.30pm and im in bed listening to the wind and rain , plant pots have been flying round the garden, hope it quieten down soon..

Warm and sunny, 70+ today and it was snowing Tuesday of last week. Warm and sunny isn't the best thing given our record breaking snowpack in the mountains. Flooding is beginning and will get much worse. I read that Alta, one of the older ski resorts just above Salt Lake City got almost 800 inches of snow this year, and that's typical. All that water has to go somewhere.

An oddity here is that our worst floods come on hot sunny days...

The most immediate threat now is from avalanches, I can see them on the mountain above my house. We are safe, but not everyone is. Roads are being closed due to the danger.

Update.. currently 97 but I don't think we are going to hit the 100 mark today. I had April 15 as the first 100 day but it's supposed to start cooling down tomorrow so I don't think I will win the "100" pool.

Unseasonabley warm - 75F now. Predictions say even warmer the next two days (low 80sF). I went out and walked around outside an hour ago and the grass is dry and crispy underfoot. I see why there's a wildfire danger alert.

but it didn't stop some people getting on the roller coaster, which terrifyingly got stuck due to the storm just before it reached the top, and the people were stuck in it until others had to climb up and rescue them....have people got no common sense at all ?

Wow! That is horrible, please stay safe.

A beautiful sunny day, 88°. What the heck happened to spring? 🤔 It just jumped from winter into summer!

I cannot believe it's close to 100 degrees here in New Jersey, today. Records are being broken here and in New York.
