2023 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

it was a partly sunny ,bit humid for most of the morning temp was in the 70's
When I was coming home from Marcia&Dave's house around 1pm,a quick passing t. storm, pouring really fast,I got caught in it. When I got home I had to change out of wet clothes,temp dropped into the 60's
 

It's been rain, rain and more rain. I heard the loudest thunder I've heard in years yesterday. We also had some lightening in the evening. We're forecast to have more thunderstorms today and tomorrow (Wednesday). 🙁Pardon the pun but this is seriously raining on my parade! I wanted to go to Atlantic City for a couple of days but thunderstorms are forecast there too. I can't even do laundry because I have to go outside and down several steps.

Today started out sunny, then partly cloudy, then completely overcast. Right now the sky is dark and I'm closing my windows. I hear thunder, and I'm waiting for a heavy thunderstorm that's rolling in any minute, 78°.
 
It's supposed to get to 108F today (over 42C) by 3pm, with a "real feel" of 111F (nearly 44C).

It got up to 107 yesterday. Fortunately, the house has an excellent air-con system.

I ran the sprinklers in the back for a little while just before it got super hot. The squirrels and stray cats loved playing in the damp grass. The cats mostly lounged in shady puddles and wet spots on the patio.

There's a new one coming around. Looks only 3 or 4 months old. I'm calling him Natty because he looks spruce in his perfectly symmetrical silver-grey tuxedo and little bow-tie.
 
The summer's triple threat - HHH (hazy, hot and humid) - the heat index right now is 90F (temp with the humidity factor). Only going to get worse starting the middle of next week - could have actual temps in the 90sF range.
 
We're having a lovely cool 67 degrees ..with sun. It's such a joy to have it so pleasant.. wer'e supposed to be getting this respite for a few days before the Heat rises high once again for the rest of the month
 
I'm trying to get around the heat (without much success), by opening the windows at night an putting box fans in them, then shut the windows when I get up in the morning. I can usually get it below 70F, but by 10 am on a sunny day, the effort is futile. Usually gets to 78 - 84F indoors by noon.

Today was mostly cloudy, 81°. Heavy rain tonight.
