2023 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

No matter how much it rains, it is still oppressive. The temps here didn't get below 74F last night at the "official" local weather station. Dewpoints are in the mid 60sF.

I will be complaining soon enough how cold and snowy it is.

This is getting repetitious - another bunch of storms last night - 0.6 inches in rain gauge. The day starts out dry, but by mid-afternoon, it clouds up and starts raining around dinner time. A wet Friday is predicted - "intermittent downpours".

Sunny... 75 deg... 🌤️

I want to thank all my friends in the Mid-Atlantic states for sending their hot and humid weather our way! :) Going by the Humidex it is 93 degrees today! Cool by Southern and European standards at the moment but intolerable for me! Come on fall!!! Why are all the weather systems stalling for such a long time. The saying "if you don't like our weather, just wait a few minutes" no longer seems to apply!

P.S. We just had the most beautiful rainbow! Sometimes having to endure a hot summer's day is worth it!

This is ridiculous. It should be summer, but it's so cold, damp and miserable this morning, that the central heating fired up. Forecast is only for around 12C / 53F today. A bit better for the next few days, but still only 15C / 59F.

I knew as soon as I awoke this morning, we were back into the warm, muggy pattern. Not as cool as yesterday and there was intermittent drizzle and rain. Right now it looks like the sun is trying to break through, but more storms predicted for later today. We're under a flood watch- AGAIN!

Generally hot and humid, 90 and 90.....

This year has been unusual as we have had a few cool days only reaching the 80's... usually July and August are 'stay inside' days just like January and February, except it is generally too cold to stay outside then...

The weather is once more being very, very frustrating!

The forecast is again wrong. We are enjoying warm sunshine and temps around 20C. We were expecting dull and rainy weather. Soooooo......... based on this I planted some young plants yesterday expecting them to be watered in today and for them to enjoy some dull weather so they could establish themselves. Instead, I have lost a tray of lettuce seedlings becuase they frazzled in the sun and my meconopsis is panting in this sun.

Climate change is one thing but rotten forecasting is not helping at all!
