2023 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

frost was in last night's forecast. all my house plants were still outside. they had to fend for themselves. really have to get them cleaned up and brought inside before a killer frost comes along!

What do you do to clean them before bring indoors?

In the 70s today which is unusual for Wisconsin this time of year.

Sunny... after a rainy start. it's 58 deg f.. but it still feels very warm in the sun. I went out without a coat to the next town todo some shopping..

The grass is still soaked on the lawns , and I've had to put the dehumidifier on in the Barn .. but it's nice now...

Another two days of unseasonably warm weather and then around 4PM Thursday, the bottom drops out.

What do you do to clean them before bring indoors?

i trim where needed. pull out the weeds that may have found their way to the pots. i let them get really dry ahead of time so they're less heavy and easier to move.

Going to get up to 70's by noon and later in the lower 80's in the Panhandle of Texas. But, Sat. and Sunday are going to be really cold, possible snow!

Our first frost last night. Brrr. Not much above freezing today. As long as that strong wind subsides, it’ll be ok.

It started off wet yet again until about 11am.. then overcast... then around early afternoon the sun came out ... and now it's 5.10pm it's getting overcast again. It'll be dark in less than an hour. 59 deg... but it feels frosty, so I've turned the heating on for an hour just to take that icy feel off..
