2023 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

We've gotten enough rain in Dallas for a month. I've just turned off the sprinklers for the foreseeable future. My partner has a new car and had to drive home in rain and hail. Fortunately, there was no damage. We've had numerous thunderstorms this month. It's great for the foliage, but I'm looking forward to a few clear days, even if they are hot.
I was concerned about you after seeing the forecasts for severe weather and possible tornadoes. Do stay safe!

We are in for plenty of rain this weekend with temps hovering around 60 for the high.

well we had a few earthquake tremors yesterday but no major probs but the internet seemed to slow down a lot and they do dig trenches here and put lines underground? today I cleaned up the pc with the help of AVG - and it seems 50% better so far - so for sure my pc was very cluttered and messy and it is quite amazing to watch it being so called cleaned - can't see it until the end but then the result

We're caught in a "moderate" drought....have only had about 1/4" inch if rain in April...compared to the normal 4 or 5 inches. I took the mower out yesterday to "even" out the yard, and within minutes I was creating a dust storm. I had to go back to the house and put on one of those disposable Covid masks to keep from clogging up my lungs. If the long range forecasts are correct, we may have one of the driest Springs and Summers on record.....I may not be wasting much gas in the mowers.

Glorious day..I took this picture this afternoon at the Garden centre..

It's wonderful. I went out in my short sleeved shirt this morning at 11:00 AM for my daily healthy walk. It was 17 C at that time. Big deal because this is the middle of Canada and it's some sort of record high.
