2023 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

Another insufferably hot, humid day. I can't remember a summer here in the northeastern U.S. where it's been so consistently hot and muggy. Couldn't get the temp in the house below 78F last night. Forecast promises some relief my Monday. The only way to get rid of the heat is for me to have central AC installed. Then it will never get over 70F again!

Hot and Humid in the deep heart of Texas as usual ... seems to be our new normal these days & nights, so have to just endure.

It was actually quite pleasant here today, about 21C / 70F. This is what we would hope for in July. We went for a walk on the beach which was virtually deserted. Only one or two braving the sea which is pretty cold all year round.

A severe storm alert has been issued for my locale. I hope the kid mowing the lawn gets done in time.

The storm passed through and the temp fell about 15 degrees! It feels wonderful. But it's still 83F inside, will probably take a while to cool off even with the windows open.

Blessed relief! After the storms passed, the temp fell about 15 degrees. After all the heat lately, 67 seems frigid!

Not a lot of rain, but enough to make things look a little wet. Nice thing in a desert.
