2023 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

We've enjoyed five days of clear skies and night time temps in the mid 30's F. This was great for me because I moved a U-Haul truck full of stuff down to my Daughter's new home in the Willamette Valley of Oregon.

Tonight the rains return.

Raining again... just drizzling.. so it hasn't stopped the literal hundreds f trick-a-treaters and their mums and dads... all dressed in their Halloween finery..

DD called and warmed me we're about to get yet ANOTHER big storm ( storm kieran) as from Tomorrow , for the next few days

Looks like a little rain coming soon. Then snow, just less than an inch.

Weather Service is saying that Winter has arrived though. Just to the west they expect reduced driving visibility, up to 6 inches of snow and in pockets even more. Several graphics about wearing cold weather clothing, isolated power outages, snow-covered roads.

But we'll warm up a little in a few days.

Britain faces 150 UK flood alerts or warnings

Ciaran is a 'weather bomb', a low pressure system whose central pressure falls 24 millibars(mb) in 24 hours in a process officially called explosive cyclogenesis.
The storm had a pressure of 981mb this morning, and this is set to fall to 954mb by midnight - a drop of 27mb in less than 24 hours.
BBC forecaster Simon King said Ciaran 'could be one of the most intense November storms to hit the UK',

23F right now at 10AM, but I am going for my jog anyway. Temps have to get down below zero (with chill factor) for me not to go. Actually, 20’s F are nice temps for jogging if you dress right.

Time to dig out all the winter running gear!

Sunny... 🌞🌞 after a rainy start. it's 58 deg f.. but it still feels very warm in the sun. I went out without a coat to the next town todo some shopping..

The grass is still soaked on the lawns , and I've had to put the dehumidifier on in the Barn .. but it's nice now...
I didn't read this post when first written, Holly. I'm curious about where the barn is in relation to your home. Same property, or nearby?
