Cooler and cloudy. I see we escaped both rain and hail yesterday. To the North and West they got hail from 1/2 inch to an inch in size.

A cold, drizzly, raw day. My locale got off easy - it stayed just rain. Communities to the north had sleet and freezing rain - some of their schools were on delayed opening or were closed. The early morning weather report said it would get up in the 50sF this afternoon - didn't happen yet as of 3:15 pm. I just checked and it's 40F right now.

It's November so our 80F is "hot," but if we were back in July, we'd be feeling blessed for "cool" temps!

Yesterday, at the dog park at Cherry Beach, we saw 3 wind-surfers on the lake

We had Freezing Fog last night that was so thick it obscured the sunrise. Finally sol made an appearance but still cold. But first thing this morning it was eerily still and quiet. We have a generally dry climate do any fog a rarity.

Last night was a deep frsot. The cars were covered in ice, and the gritters were out in force gritting the roads...

Tonight it won't freeze because it's raining abloodygain....this raining has got me beat.. more than a month of rain...never been known here...
