2023 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

Raining all day. Snow is gone again. Might get an inch later tonight. Very dreary, but I don’t have to shovel or worry about my daughter driving, provided she gets home tonight before the snow starts. A year ago on Dec 22 we were buried with about 18” of heavy snow that even took out the power - that was stressful!

Eastern New York state is under a flood watch. Rains starting Sunday afternoon and heavy downpours expected through Monday with high winds. Good thing it's warm enough to be rain. It would be a blizzard if it was colder. I brought my rain gauge out of winter hibernation just to see how much we actually receive. Right at the moment, there's no precip, but it's so overcast, the street lights have come on.

Heavy rain tonight and Monday

Same here in CT

Modest three day storm began this morning after a few bone dry weeks. Went to 10am mass and when I came out, the first rain drops were falling. So when I got home, instead of parking in my carport, parked out in the open for a car wash.

It was stormy last night. We got a lot of rain and high winds. It continued on until today early afternoon. It is quite cloudy now and still windy but not cold. 68 degrees F.

It's raining pretty hard right now. We are under a flood watch in several N.J. & N.Y. counties until 5 p.m. Although I can walk to areas that flood in my city, our neighborhood never floods.

Sky is the same colour as the contents of the tumble dryer lint drawer. Temperature is mild degrees Fahrengrade... but the forecast is looking mean
