We expect a winter storm today-but it is only a "warning" at this point.
We have not had much snow here yet-Southern Tier of NYS.
Yesterday didn't get above 22 degrees all day, with clouds, but it was beautiful out- no wind chill factor.

Thank goodness, a dry, sunny day at last. I don't mind that it's cold as long as there's no more rain.

We are finally getting an inch of snow. First time in my life that we have not had snow in January. I heard the last time was 1953. We are the very edge of a storm. It looks like Michigan will get it hard.

I'm getting afraid to watch the weather forecast. Now it's 8 to 12 inches predicted starting tonight.

I don't know whether to try to shovel 6 inches or more of heavy, wet snow or wait to see if it melts on Wednesday when temps are forecast to be in the 50Fs.

Very overcast here in NE Texas still standing water and plenty of mud but chilly outside 30's F upper though not a good time to be outside unless dressed for it.

It's been cloudy all day. We're getting a few flurries now, then it's supposed to turn to rain. We are supposed to get between 3 - 6 inches of snow by tomorrow (Sunday). The temps will stay in the low to mid 30s.

I hear some neighbor noises that sound like they are prepping their snow blowers.

There's always some doofus that tries to drive in a snow storm and plows into a power pole and knocks out electricity and cable just when everyone needs it.

The storm didn't blow over as I'd hoped. Snow is coming down and there was sleet. Not a good afternoon... A very sweet younger couple stopped in to deliver a package that was delivered to the wrong address. They left with their arms around each other... young love.

So an hour later I'm looking at Facebook and saw a picture of their smashed up car not far from here at all. Reports are saying they were both injured, but not severe injuries. Glad I have nowhere to go for days.
