It's been warm and dry for a while. I suppose I should be thankful because my car's driver's side window is stuck down, but we need rain. When I walked over the lawn this morning, the grass was crispy. It's going to continue this way (dry and temps in the mid to upper 80sF) through Wednesday.

Our weather has been perfect for the past 2 weeks in the 60-70’s. That’s all changing today with 84 and 90 by tomorrow. I had to walk the dogs at 7:30 so it was cool. I hate hot weather.

Hot here even before noon, and sticky. Only 77F but rising, I guess standing working in the sun with the humidity rising from the damp ground makes it rougher than it would otherwise be,

Lunch over. I guess I'll get onto the hardwood floors, light mopping with a dampened sponge-strip mop using vinegar and Pine-Sol in water.

Another unseasonably warm day and no rain yet. Same tomorrow, and wouldn't you know, the day I have to deliver meals (Thursday) - rain predicted. Good thing my car window is fixed.

Lawn is pretty much burnt to a crisp. The only thing green is the narrow-leaf plantain (invasive weed).
