2024 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

Had our first frost a couple days ago. It's chilly, but I like it this way. Much prefer cold to too much warmth. My dog loves the cold, apparently, he's having a blast. Mind you, his coat is changing, and I have to pluck him every night.

After Saturday/Sunday "snow storm" today we have blue sky and sunshine and a temperature of -18C at 2 pm and tonight it's going down to -26C!!! Don't know how much it snowed because there was of course also wind, I believe at least 10-15 cm (4-6 inches), maybe more.
At least this time it was a more powdery snow unlike the first one. They are saying more snow for tomorrow night and Wednesday but for now it's for more Southern SK. Lets hope its true because we have enough right now here. The roads are still not good.

A cold, rainy start to the day. It's just a few degrees from being sleet or snow. No precip tomorrow, but rain is forecast to return on Thursday. Looks like a raw Thanksgiving in store.

It was raining at 6:30 when I got up. Now, at 10:20, it's sunny and not a cloud in the sky.

Very sunny here, but 40 F and breezy so it is pretty chilling to work out there. Bare hands and you don't last long, but gloves work ok for anything but fine work. Even then the chilly wind seems to penetrate quickly... so layers.

Finally getting a bit of winter. 20F right now and lows around 10F the next few nights. A few inches of snow on the ground, which I have been waiting for so I can easily sled in my firewood today.
