2025 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

It's been unsettled for what seems like the last two weeks. Much cooler than average with rain or drizzle on and off for the most part. I looked at my rain gauge this morning and there was about half an inch in it, but it seems like it would be more than that, unless it leaking someplace. The forecast is for gradual improvement this week with slowly moderating temps. After today, very little chance of rain (so is predicted).

63 f today. Warmer tomorrow and the next days in the 70s. I got to get out and walk. Wish I had someone to walk with me.

Dull and overcast at the moment (07.45 am). Light rain is forecast for the morning, followed by sunshine this afternoon. However, I don't really trust the forecast altogether as heavy rain was forecast for this area yesterday but we had light drizzle for a while and then sunshine by late afternoon.

Middle Tennessee has been staying “weather aware” and although cooler-than-normal temps, the humidity is high.

To-date Middle Tennessee has had 21 confirmed tornadoes , which is more than the entire year of 2024. Last night, there was a radar spotted (and unexpected) spin-up less than 15 miles from me. Thankfully it stayed in the air.

Straight line winds occur often and can cause as much or more damage.

Nothing anyone can do except stay prepared, watch the sky, the critters behavior, and keep going about one’s business.

it’s 4:00 AM and while only 65°, the humidity is 96%, and the dewpoint is 64°. Hi tomorrow will only be 78° and we may reach 80° by the end of the week. A nice temperature but not nice to be outside doing work, when the humidity & dew points are so high.

Some rain and then hotter days coming next week here:

Anyone else seeing local news and weather folks moving to YouTube as corporate capture of local TV and radio advances its stranglehold and forgets how big and how diverse the country really is?

Today is the hottest day so far this Spring, peaked out at 83 degrees F.
Otherwise it's been hovering in the mid 50's to mid 60's with an occasional
day of 70, but then comes the rain, just like it is forecasted for tomorrow.
Washington State has lots of rain, lots of the time.
