80F here today. It was hot, despite deploying the UK's air conditioning systems (AKA: fans to blow the hot air around).

According to the BBC, it'll be almost 90F on Saturday. I wouldn't mind seeing a doctor to get some sleeping pills so I can skip that day entirely.

We in London are further north than NY... yet we have had super hot temperatures this last 2 weeks while you've not ....

After all the fire warnings about severe weather, I didn't think we had a drop of rain last night. It was a little windy for a while and a few distant rumbles of thunder. It could have passed by in another locale. Now it's much cooler that yesterday and breezy.

Listen, when you are the oldest monarch ever crowned in British history and you have been the heir apparent since you were just 3 years old, that seventy year wait means that you want to look like a monarch. Some hope!

The first day of summer and there is a Winter Wx Advisory!!! I saw fresh snow on my motorcycle ride this morning as you can see in the photo below. 2"- 10" new snow possible overnight!

This morning I left the house on my Yamaha 900 at 8:15am, 35°F topped out the summit at 8700', a 2500' elevation gain from my home. I had the down long underware top and bottom, two other layers along w heavy outerware and hi-vis vest today.

I feel bad for my wife this morning since she puts in hours gardening daily. This is one snowstorm we didn't need, although there are local forest fires that are now dead and a whole bunch of wet, cold, and hungry firefighters heading home soon.
