It is 74F at the moment and it didn't get below that overnight. Shaping up to be another hot and muggy day. The rain forecast for Friday has now fizzled out and rescheduled for Sunday.

Right now - 89F with heat index of 98F. No relief for several days. It's going to be in the mid-80s to low 90sF through next Wednesday and only a 50% chance of rain on Sunday. The ground is like powder. I took the dehumidifier condensate out this morning and watered my apple seedlings.

A more comfortable night. Temp got down to 64F according to Wunderground, but warming up fast on a bright, sunny day. Much needed rain an almost certainty for Sunday.

It's cooled off so much it seems almost autumnal. 66F at the moment with moderate and much needed rain. However, the heat is returning tomorrow through at least Wednesday.

It's going to be a warm one today, and most of the week, today is 33 degrees. and with humidity, supposed to be about 45 = 114 in F

Well, the Heat Index ("feels like __") is supposed to be 110 this afternoon, with the actual temps being in the high 90's.

I went to the library at noon, planning to browse around for a while. Apparently, the air conditioning had been broken since yesterday and it was like a steam bath in there. I just grabbed some books quickly and oozed my way out.

It good we had a little rain yesterday - 1.4" (3.6cm). Not enough to make up for the deficit. A few months ago, there was buzz about how it rained every weekend here. The lawn is now brown and crispy.
