Heavy rain in SoCal is causing flash-floods near areas of Los Angeles where the Palisades wildfire destroyed trees and groundcover. Fortunately, most of the area is fairly flat, so there's no serious concern about landslides... until the hills get soaked. Seems like we always wait until there's a real concern to get concerned, but I don't live there so I could be totally wrong.

It's been raining off and on here today, and it's very cold. 62F/16C...very cold for Sacramento Valley.

Dull and a bit blustery. But... it isn't raining, thank goodness. The northern part of the county of Cumbria has had heavy rain and flooding but not here.

Seasonable temp, but windy. A neighbor put out trash bags full of rhododendron clippings and the wind blew them up and down the street. I had to go out an pick up about half a dozen of them that blew onto my property. They looked like tumbleweeds.
Intermittent clouds and sun. Driving home from church there were a few splats on the windshield, but not enough to even turn on the wipers.
