I have been to the Toronto spring training practices and games in Dunedin, Florida. They should spend some money and build a new stadium. Their training complex is really nice, modern and fairly close to the stadium.

Dodgers are favored to win the Series. I have no dog in this fight. The Dodgers wiped out my Phillies.

The starter, Blake Snell, had a good slider, but a pitcher can’t live on 1 pitch. Even Nolan Ryan knew that. I thought Snell looked sharp through 5 innings. I could see in the 6th inning that he started leaving his pitches up. The Dodgers’ bullpen was of no help.

Ohtani finally hit a HR in the 7th. I think he struck out his first 3 times at bat.

Let’s hope tonight that the real Dodgers show up.

I respectfully disagree.

I'm in a quandry. I became a die hard Dodger fan at the age of 4. But then they broke my heart by moving to LA when I was 10. I still have a bit of a soft spot for them but then I'm rooting for Canada in the trade war so it's a tough call for me.

I'm a loyal New York Yankees fan. I don't like the Blue Jays. But I hate the Dodgers. Lifelong Dodgers hater. Almost as much as I hate the Red Sox. So I will go with the lesser of 2 evils and root for the Blue Jays. I usually root for the AL team in the World series, unless it's Boston.

Lol! And as a Dodger fan I have always hated the Yankees. :ROFLMAO:

It all started in 1951 when I was 4 years old and we took a trip from Florida to New Jersey to visit my dad's family. It was in September and they had an early cold snap in New Jersey when we were up there. Having come from Florida we did not expect to encounter any cold weather in September. So my mother said to my dad "you have got to get him (meaning me) a jacket".

So my dad being a big baseball fan took me to a sporting goods store to get one. This was in North Jersey right accoss the Hudson from New York. And the store had jackets in little kids sizes like the warm up jackets that base ball players wear. And my dad asked me what kind of jacket I wanted. The choices were Yankees, Giants, and Dodgers, the three New York teams at that time. And the word "Dodgers" just caught my attention, so that's what I picked. From that moment on I was a Dodger fan.
