2026 - How's the Weather Where You Are

A drizzly morning turned into snow around mid-day. Of course it stopped once I got home from meal deliveries. It's 29F and cloudy at the moment. A much colder forecast predicted. I guess it's back to winter.

isn't it always the way ?...I find that happening to me on regular basis...

Got all my raised gardens covered and heated, and all my potted plants in the garage. Finally got all the citrus, banana, fig tree's covered too. Looking at 28 degree's and a hard freeze.

It rained all day today and was 11 degree Celsius. Spring weather.

Chicago area. After tomorrow, we will not even get to 32f for the next 10 days. Tomorrow is a balmy 34f.

Heavy snow is expected. The high will be -11° and it will be blustery.

Minus 14C and snow all day until about 4:00 PM. I spent a good part of the day shoveling snow and blowing snow. Time consuming and cold but not really hard work. I'm lucky in that the places that I have to shovel the snow can be pushed away rather than picking it up and throwing it. Walk behind snowblower gets the tight spots and the compact tractor and blower does the big areas. Then I help out a few neighbours a bit.
