2026 - How's the Weather Where You Are

@Michael Z I know you are so over this extreme weather. My brother lives in NE Ohio on the cusp of Lake Effect snow. He is a plumber and has been working outside on some new construction projects. He has also been swearing more than usual.

I am retired in Middle Tennessee and we aren’t looking too good either. They are telling us our main issue is going to be damaging winds and temps in the 20’s/teens:

“NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY - SUNDAY NIGHT

We’re tracking the threat for a line of strong to severe thunderstorms late Sunday evening and Sunday night across Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky when a strong cold front pushes through the Midstate.

All modes of severe weather will be possible, with the biggest threat being damaging wind gusts and heavy rainfall, but hail and a couple of spin-up tornadoes cannot be ruled out.

Storms will roll into west Middle Tennessee around 10 p.m., move through Nashville around or just after midnight, and then move east of I-65 after 1 a.m.”
