2026 - How's the Weather Where You Are

It's snowing, but the radar indicates it likely won't last long. In fact, the sun is peeking in and out.

It's been nice and bright today but, when I went out earlier, it was quite chilly.

Sunny, breezy for days on end and downright scary. We're not getting the normal spring rains in Mississippi and temperatures are above average. We had below normal winter precipitation as well.

There's an uncontained wildfire 40 miles south of here and most of the state is under a strict burn ban ...in March!!! We've only ever had burn bans late summer and early fall as far as I can remember.

Wish I hadn't recently listened to Kristen Hannah's The Four Winds about the Dust Bowl and the 10 year drought during that time.

Clear my way, high temps of 50 F. No rain today
but there has been lots of rain this month and some
flooding. I am anxious for Spring to really arrive.

Sunny, Windy ,,,, then every once in while small white flakes blow by.

Yesterday we bought strawberry roots,,now to get better weather, so we can plan them.

Unbelievably in the middle of a very sunny albeit windy day.... without any warning we had hailstones... which were actually white snow rather than the usual small hard ice balls...

I was in the garden assembling new Solar lights at the time, and something hit my head so hard I thought something had blown off the roof..but it was big snowy Hailstones..
