This article should have stopped at “There isn’t a band out there that can give you everything in terms of sound, creativity, and showmanship that Pink Floyd does……”
The 25 other bands have their own uniqueness. The only bands that sound like pink Floyd are the fake pink Floyd bands. They are close but no cigar.

No. I don't think so. Way different bands/genres/art/technique/intent/etc.... The closest I think of is the Moody Blues. Interesting story telling with original almost sound track music.

Many on the list are progressive rock bands who each had their own distinctive sound.
Pink Floyd was the most successful of the progressive groups.
Yes was very popular also.
