What if people were judging each other by the color of their eyes, instead of their skin? Would any of these big, sweeping generalizations make any sense?

A thousand years from now, if the human race hasn't totally extinguished itself by then, they will look back at this period and be astonished that people made judgements based on the color of anyone's skin. Just look back through human history, and see what we think of most of the ignorant beliefs, prejudices, and cruelty that were part of human life, literally since mankind evolved. That's how we will appear to the people who are living then.

Or maybe by then, human life will be gone, and everything will be run by AI devices, which come in all colors? My new phone is already a lot smarter than I am! (It's blue.)

If you were denied housing, not hired or passed over for promotions despite being qualified and denied loans or charged higher rates due to your skin color..perhaps you'd feel like a victim too. Not to mention if you saw your family members hanging from trees or severely beaten or shot and killed because of the color of their skin even though they were only going about their normal, daily business...sounds like victims to me! There are many, many hard working, highly educated Black people in the world. Some of them have contributed much to our society in the fields of technology, science, medicine, engineering, etc. How dare you judge our entire race by those who present negative images, which by the way have gotten highlighted more than their White counterparts, until fairly recently when all these White, affluent family murderers started hitting the news. I'm glad I have sense enough not to judge all Caucasians by the ones who are committing these heinous deeds.

Some of the responses on this thread are astonishing and greatly disappointing.
 

"Reparation's" aside, the single biggest reason for our crime rates among the young, IMO, is the breakdown of the Traditional Family. An increasing number of children are born to unwed mothers, and half of those kids grow up never knowing who their father Really Is. Instead of being raised in a family with both parents, with proper education and discipline, many of them get their "education" on the street, and their "father" is the leader of the local street/drug gang.

The "responsibility" always seems to be placed on the Mother, but it takes "Two to Tango". With the reliability of today's DNA tests, any single women giving birth should be tested, and the involved Male identified. If that Male is shown to have "donated" his sperm more than two times, without accepting responsibility for his actions, he should be given a mandatory Vasectomy. IMO. If these fools want to live like a rabbit, society should not be burdened with the results.

Also, this graph uses data from the 1960s when Blacks were just starting to get equal rights and racism was still rampant:

Why use data from 60 years ago? Blacks have made tremendous advances in education since then, so why use old data? Obviously, it's not accurate since education affects IQ scores.
