A Bowl of Cereal at Night?

Ah, the Virtue Signaling.

"I'm better than you because I don't eat cereal or drink milk,
Only the unwashed and the unclean eat cereal and drink milk..."
Don't worry about it. As far as sugar in cereals go, I never plan to give up sugar completely. Got to live. I put brown sugar on my oatmeal this morning. It already had raisins cooked in it, so I didn't need all that much.

I would like to drown the oatmeal in sugar, but I don't.

If that's the way you interpreted my comments, all I can assume is that you (and possibly @January given his snarky, offended tone on the subject), must have deep seated emotional issues.

Relax.

I wasn't trying to put you down or make you feel inferior.

Any feelings of inferiority you're experiencing come from somewhere other than me or my comments about eating cereal.

Maybe counseling is in order.... 🤔

Hers actually.

My tone wasn't snarky nor was I offended - if you interpret civilly responding as snarky, that is on you.

And deciding people must have deep seated emotional issues when they point out nutritional information - seriously??? o_O :ROFLMAO:

So, is that yet another example of my "high horse" from which I look down upon those who consume cereal and milk?

Nothing snarky about that at all. 🙄

I can remember as a child my sister and I spent a week with our grandparents. For breakfast my grandmother gave us a bowl of Grape Nut. I loved it and have even searched the internet for where I can get it. They say it is available only in America, not anywhere in Australia. Has anyone here ever tasted it or bought it?
Love it. A little honey on top is perfect.

Fedex delivers to Australia. 😉

I don't think highly sugared cereals are that great for you - but can't see how ones like weetbix, cornflakes and co are that nutritionally different to crackers or cheese nutritionally different to milk.🙅‍♀️
Weetabix is so cool. Much denser than other cereals.

Of course,
doesn't everyone?

No. But yes!

See, a bowl of cereal at ANY time is a wonderful thing. The trouble is, I always run out of milk. I have a lot of milk with my cereal. I have also weaned myself off sugary cereals. They taste fantastic, but they're not good for you and negate the benefits of eating a healthy food. So no chocolate this and that for me, no "frosted", etc.

Enjoying a bowl right now while watching the Notre Dame vs Penn St game.
In case anyone was wondering.

Sometimes I mix cereals, tonight is Corn Flakes and Honeynut Cheerios.
