@senior chef

Are these wimin mostly in bars?
Nearly every man, at one point in his life, must pay for female companionship
I must be the exception
Never spent much
Lotsa fun things where money is not involved

My only prob when single, was avoiding long term relationships
Never really cared for all the paraphilia that comes with those

The other prob was exhaustion
Wimin have superhuman stamina
There just isn't enough vitamins

This isn't the first time "chef" has expressed his misogynistic hatred of women on this forum. At this point in his life, our responses are the only interaction he has with women. He's enjoying himself immensely. Ladies, it's time to stop feeding the beast. There's no hope for him. He's a waste of time. Let him find the attention he so desperately needs and desires from someone else somewhere else.

Yep I think you may be the exception. I never had to do it BUT as a general rule, it is said that a man should pay two months wages for a diamond engagement ring.
That, unfortunately, is just the tip of the iceberg.

Equality is in quotes because women not only demand equal pay, BUT ALSO keep all of the ****** power. In other words women now want it all. Every bit of power. Financial power AND all of the ****** power.
If the day ever comes when women shoulder at least 50% of the initial dating experience , then I'll retract.
If you don't like paying, maybe you should cook dinner for them. You are a chef, after all. If they are impressed, they may be willing to support you. ;)

Just thinking about my grandfather, a crusty WW1 vet, father of 10, married to my grandmother until a massive heart attack killed him. When I was in my early teens, and I'm not sure how the topic came up, he said "I don't know what else women want. They already have half the money in the world, and all the *****."

I would suggest some place like the Men Going Their Own Way website. He can surely find a soulmate over there.

Exactly true. too bad he had to learn that too late.

Yes, I'm well aware of Men Going There Own Way. I agree with some of it but not all.

The main point of this thread is since women feel free to change tradition, men should also be free to do the same thing.
The first step is to reject the idea of being the main bread winner.

Suggestion for men: Since you have worked like a dog your whole life to support a wife and children, take the earliest possible retirement. You have certainly earned it. Then enjoy whatever gives you pleasure.

And men aren't stupid.

A guy knows when a girl is moony over him. Being shy in real life, I always made double sure I had the 'green light' before asking a girl out. I never walked into it cold.

Senior chef:

A feminist is someone who believes women should have equal rights with men -- equal pay for the same work, equal opportunities in job searches. Who wouldn't be a feminist? Who thinks women are lesser beings who shouldn't be paid as much or shouldn't be given a chance at their dream job?

When I was young and looking for work I was told by a bank manager, "We don't hire women because people wont trust them to handle their money." After working in a store's drug department for a few years the male manager quit and I asked for the job (which I had already been doing while he was off with a heart attack.) I was told, "We never make our women managers. Men wont take orders from women." I called the local business college wanting to enroll in drafting class ( I already knew a lot about it because my father had taught me). I was told, "We don't allow women in drafting. You can take shorthand or typing."

Some men take every quality they don't like in certain women and attribute it to feminism. Feminism has nothing to do with the social customs Senior Chef is talking about. Go ahead ask a woman out, be so nice and pleasant one will ask you out. Remind yourself that because one woman one time barked at you for holding the door open, probably many since then have thanked you.

Remember this when you're complaining about women having power:
"Some 47,000 women and girls worldwide were killed by their intimate partners or other family members in 2020. This means that, on average, a woman or girl is killed by someone in her own family every 11 minutes. Where trends can be calculated, they show that the magnitude of such gender-related killings remains largely unchanged, however, with only marginal increases and decreases over the past decade." - Unodc.org

I believe that general rule was the invention of DeBeers along with popularizing diamonds for engagement rings.

I've been married twice and never had a diamond. Don't really care, but if I met a guy who hadn't had a date, but was already worrying about the cost of a diamond I would run far away fast.

Some men just seem to resent the very existence of women. They want to have children but they don't want to pay for their food clothing and doctor bills, they want a wife as companion, housecleaner, laundress, shopper, childminder and cook but resent having to pay the mortgage so she (and he) will have a roof over their heads.
Those men should just stay single and watch TV.

Way to go Chef!! Woman want it all, equal pay, equal this, equal that. If women are so anxious to be like men, why then don't they want to be treated like a man? No, that would be degrading!! Why?

So why don't you just ignore his posts and more on? Or does the truth hurt?

Who the heck knows ? I sure don't. Men have been trying to understand women since the beginning of time.

Many men, especially the younger men are doing precisely that by never marrying.

Quote from a world famous feminist
"I want to see a man beaten to a bloody pulp with a high heel shoved in his mouth like an apple in the mouth of a pig".
