My Zinnia's will soon be going to seed. I wanted to mark the color of the plants that I liked the most. I was using masking tape which I was labeling with the color and attaching it to the branch of that plant. I will collect the seed when it dries and put them away for next season. We have a beautiful well taken care of cat that visits me when I am outside. I don't know who owns him. Extremely friendly. He wears a tag with the name Spider on it. He will answer to that name. I was happily marking my Zinnia's and carrying on a lengthy conversation with Spider who seemed to agree with everything I had to say. Soon Spider decided to go home. I stepped back to make sure I had everything labeled. Then I noticed I had labeled many of the plants Spider. Maybe once ok, but several times? My son said they put folks away for less than that.
