Where we walked ( we’ve apple watches to record out activity ) if we bother ….i forgot to put it in while rushing to get back to accommodation before the rain ( again )
So we done about 6 kms which is easy to do here in Queensland lots of bike and walking areas.
The state boundary is kinda weird here ….its boundary is a street ..where you go up the road towards point danger ….in Queensland ….come down the same road on the other side and its New South Wales
The boundary has a huge roundabout ..half NSW …half Qld

A neighbor had one of these.....so beautiful! It's the only one I've ever seen in life.Mimosa in spring. (my image) A frilly, fluffy, fuzzy, feathery, fast-growing ornamental tree with fern-like leaves. It's an Asian native and is also known as Persian Silk Tree. It's a pretty, showy, late-spring bloomer.

@MarkD i found out what those plants are along the beach, I asked Queenslanders who are on the crafty / gardening / general lifestyle / fugal living forum/ cooking ( Aussie forum ) if anyone can tell me what they are called
Common Name: Screw pine
Conservation Status: Not considered to be at risk in the wild.
Derivation of Name: Pandanus… Derived from the Indonesian/Malay name of the tree, pandan.
tectorius…from Latin, tectorius, a covering (application to this species uncertain).
Pandanus tectorius - Australian Native Plants Society (Australia)
Today-T.5/13/25 is Nnational Tulip Day.
originating in Central Asia, where they 'grew wild'
then cultivated in Turkey 1000AD.
Spectacular!!!Well then, in that spirit, here are tulips I've photographed at FILOLI in Woodside over the years.
