A flower a day ...

Looking good between the rains, Zantedeschia aethiopica 'Hercules'. The leaves you see belong to Geranium maderense.

But it has pretty nice foliage too. It is one of the largest in its clan and has nice markings on its large leaves.

Another flower which would be insignificant because it is small if it weren't so boldly red with foliage the color of blue chrome is Melianthus pectinatus, a smaller version of "Honey Bush".

No flowers yet on these succulents: aeoniums and in the center one echeveria, but the color is wonderful.
